We are so excited to announce that the City Wigs Foundation has been created in Fresno, February 2011.

City Wigs is now providing a free wig to clients with a medical need who would not be able to afford to purchase otherwise.

This was a much needed service as so many families in the valley have been affected by the economy and just need that little bit of help. We are so thrilled to be able to help our community!

How the program works:
Clients in need would come in to the store fill out a financial/need questionnaire and based on their answers a wig of their choice will be given to them that day at no charge.

We will style the wig for the client so she will be able to wear her new hair out the door.
(Cutting the wig is not included in this free service.)

What makes this possible is our wig donation program we started in February as well.

How we get our donated wigs:
We are offering a $15-$25.00 store credit to anyone who donates a wig in gently used condition. It’s a great way for everyone to receive something of value.

Then we wash and style the wig that has been donation.

If you or someone you know has any wigs they have not been wearing please drop them by, they will go to someone in need.
